Overview

WMRV was built in 2008, so it was built to handle big rigs. There are 22 pull-through sites with water, sewer, electric (20,30,50 amp), a picnic table, tree, and free WiFi.  There are 3 dry sleeper cabins; each with a Full bed. They all have a small fridge and microwave. There is also a studio with a queen bed, table & chairs, sink with water, and some kitchenware.  WMRV is just off Main Street so it is easy walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants, a close drive to hiking, fishing, and ATV areas. Westcliffe is a wonderful place to spend a night viewing the "International Dark Skies", resting from a mountain adventure or staying the entire summer to escape the humid heat of other states. Westcliffe has been known as the best kept secret of Colorado, so come visit WMRV and be amazed at the beauty of the area nestled between the Wet and Sangre de Cristo Mountains.

This underrated campground is owned and operated by some very amiable and hard working to ensure everyone has a great time! Other than great owners it has everything any camper needs from really spacious and wide sites to choose from that have all the amenities one could ask for to a lot more. There are a lot of fun activities that would get anyone smiling and having a good time. The location is amazing as it has a lot of beautiful nature surrounding it yet so close to some really nice shops, restaurants and attractions. This is truly a hidden gem that needs to be brought to light as not only do you get everything you need as a camper or traveler, it is all for a really great price, which only makes it better!
